Extensions and Applications

We do not collect any personal information on any of our extensions or desktop applications, including the macOS and Windows applications. We have not added any payment details, is collected or stored by default.

In specific scenarios (listed below), we may collect the amount and type of information you choose to disclose voluntarily.

1Creating an Account

If you do to create a user online account or submit your data to the Screen Recorder tool or any of our products, you will always be provided with options on how to manage your data in those platforms. Such information may include your name, email address, location, phone number, or payment details, voluntarily provided by you.

2Information you choose to make public

If you post, transact, or make data in places that includes personal details, this information may be disclosed publicly. In these scenarios, we require that you take care about your personal details and any information. We cannot be held liable for any data you choose to make public information. We exercise caution in sharing sensitive personal information.

When using our website or extensions, we may automatically collect information about your device (e.g., phone, tablet, laptop, or PC) based on your settings. This includes:

4Link Generating and Sharing

We do not collect or process any content (images, videos, messages) you post or share. Videos uploaded via our tools are public by default and available to anyone accessing the link sharing them to sensitive content.

All payments are processed by third-party vendors. Information such as card details and expiration dates is directly transmitted to these vendors and is not stored or held by Flonnect.

Privacy for macOS and Windows Applications

For our desktop applications:

  • No data is collected: We do not collect, store, or process any information, including personal or usage data.

These applications are not linked to third-party servers offline and may require internet access for certain features or updates.

These tools help us improve our services and user experience. All data collected through these analytics platforms is anonymized and aggregated without any individual profiles. YouTube Upload API Integration

When using the YouTube Upload API feature in Flonnect, we request your consent to access your YouTube account. This access enables Flonnect to upload videos directly to your YouTube account. We collect only the information necessary for this feature (e.g., username, email, public profile) and do not share it with third parties except as required to deliver the service or comply with legal obligations.

Mandatory Permissions

1. tabs

Accesses browser tab information for recording active tabs.

2. contentSettings

Temporarily modifies browser settings for bug reporting.

3. storage

Stores user preferences and settings locally.

4. downloads

Enables saving recordings and screenshots to your device.

5. scripting

Allows interaction with web pages for accurate bug reporting and screen recording.

Optional Permissions

The following permissions are optional and are requested only when you enable specific features. These permissions are designed to enhance Flonnect's bug reporting and screen recording capabilities:

1. desktopCapture

Records the entire desktop or specific application windows.

2. webNavigation

Monitors navigation events for bug reporting.

3. webRequest

Analyzes network requests for detailed debugging.

All permissions are asked solely to provide or improve Flonnect's features. Optional permissions are activated only when explicitly enabled by you.
